1 month....

Grayson you are 1 month old.....
(well I am writing this a little late, but anywho)

You are the light of my life. I love you so much, I never knew love like this existed until you came into this world. You are such a sweet baby boy, and I just love every minute I spend with you.

1 month:
Weight: 10 lbs 2 oz.
Height: 20 and 3/4 inches

You love to eat! Breastfeeding has been going so well, and I am so thankful, you are a growing boy, and mommy couldn't be more proud. You quickly outgrew your newborn size clothes and are now in size 3 months! You love your hands, you want them by your face any chance you get. I guess thats from being breech in mommy's belly for so long. Needless to say you are not all that fond of being swaddled, unless your hands are out and able to move around. You also love music, music of any kind, mommy even caught daddy playing a Cobra Starship song for you so that you would go to sleep one night (it worked but we had to have a little talk with daddy to inform him that you were not quite old enough for that kind of music yet, maybe in 18 years or so).

Your sleeping pretty good throughout the night, only waking once and then going back to sleep, but your not a good napper during the day, so that has been interesting. Your favorite spot to be is on your changing table, I don't know why, but you seem to be happiest there. You've just started to think about liking bathtime, but you definately HATE lotion time after bath, I think it's because you don't like to be cold (like your mommy). You've developed bad reflux and you are just pitiful with it, it hurts you so bad and in turn hurts your mommy to see you like that. You have been on two different medicines, hopefully this second one will work and you will start to feel better. You like to be held upright with your tummy against mommy or daddy's chest, I think it makes you feel better, it is the only way we can get you to fall asleep, well that and bopping you up and down, a skill we both quickly learned.

Your brother and sister, although not too fond of you at first, really love you now. Mommy and daddy still have to watch them really close when we are all together, and they are not allowed to be around unless one of us is with you. You wear them out though, with your reflux you have been quite the cryer/screamer, they love to go into mommy and daddy's room to get away from it all and sleep, haha. Maybelle is such a good sister and she helps mommy look after you. She gets up every night with mommy and sits in your room while I feed you, she loves you so much and wants to make sure your ok.

Grayson I love you so much and this past month has been the best in the world. I am so excited to see what your future brings. I am so proud to be your momma!

My Sweet Baby Boy.....

I am trying to get caught up in the blog world, so in order to do that I am just going to post a few pictures of Grayson over the first couple of weeks, and hopefully get up to date (my goodness he is already a month old, so I need to get to it, but thats a later post). These past several weeks have been great, I have enjoyed spending so much time with my little man and being a mommy, it is the best job in the whole world.

Introducing Grayson Coleman Little

I know I am a little late updating the good 'ole blog but needless to say, things have been pretty busy around here. But after six weeks, and thanks to a lot of help from my mother, I think I am getting the hang of being a mommy. I absolutely love it! I never knew this kind of love existed, I love my little boy so much!

Grayson was born on Tuesday August 16, 2011 via scheduled C-section. Everything went smoothly and the hospital staff and stay were excellent. Both sets of family were there for the birth and were able to spend some time with baby Grayson.
